- 5+ years of backend development experience with Java
- Proven experience designing secure, scalable, and modular systems
- Deep understanding of DDD, Onion Architecture, and clean separation of concerns
- Strong grasp of security principles, encryption, authentication, and secure APIs
- Experience with high-availability, load balancing, and horizontal scaling
- Analytical mindset — you model systems before building them, and debug with precision
- Comfortable with async-first remote collaboration and architectural documentation
- Fluent English for clear, written and spoken communication
- Bonus: Experience with multi-tenant platforms, service mesh, or zero-downtime deployments
